You guys remember this? While growing up, my mother dated a guy for awhile who worked for Mattel. He gave me a ton of these things! Such a terrible show and mediocre toy line.

Done mostly on a Bamboo Wacom tablet. I think out of all the 80's toons with this type of plot, Thundercats may have been my favorite. Definitely in the top 5.
